After further consideration salary of Land Surveyors submit recommendation as follows:- Second Class £400 rising by annual increments £20 to £520. After drawing £520 for three years on fitness for promotion being certified would be promoted first. class £550 rising by annual increments £25 to £625. After further 3 years on fitness for promotion being certified further increments of £25 would be granted up to a maximum of £700. Principal Land Surveyor as at present. If this recommendation approved Crown Agents should be instructed to engage three suitable candidates and send home by first opportunity. under similar conditions as in my despatch 17th July 259 913.Crown Agents to telegraph as soon as appointments have been made.
